The Chainsmokers recently released a song by the title ‘somebody’ in 2018. The song came out with a different pitch because some parts of the vocal were initially recorded for another song. Drew Taggart, the songwriter and lead singer for the group also received an award for the year’s songwriter from the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers, or ASCAP in April 2018.
