American Rights Groups

The United States of America as we see it today can be described as a product of human and civil rights groups. The United States for a long time has struggled with issues of civil, human and migrants’ rights. It is no wonder where the country has some of the most established rights movements in the world. In the early and id 20th century the contribution of civil rights groups in the United States was the matter of concern to the whole world. Rights movements led by the likes of Martin Luther King Jr. embarked on a campaign that aimed at having every citizen of the United States regardless of his or her color given equal rights granted to the natives.

They stood up against injustices meted out to the black people and demanded equal rights. What we see today in the United States is a culmination of efforts by these people who risked their lives to ensure that future generations would enjoy full rights. The rights groups fought for the right of the minority to have equal representation in the government by making sure that they were given voting rights. They also campaigned for freedom of speech, gathering, and movement in all parts of the United States. Today, it’s common knowledge that the united states have made a tremendous change in the social fabrics.

For the first time in the history of the United States, they had a black as the president. Barrack Obama was the 44th president of the United States. Rights groups’ movements truly deserve this honor for taking America to this level.

Such issues have been taking center stage in recent times with civil and human rights coming out in droves to condemn violence between police and young people especially the blacks.

The role of human rights in a society can never be underestimated. They act as the watchdogs to government excesses that if left unchecked may hurt the same people they are supposed to protect. Human, civil and migrants’ rights have been at the center of core discussions at the United States meetings.

It is clear that for there to be a peaceful coexistence of people in a society, the basic rights of those people must be respected. Most of the wars that are being witnessed in recent times are particularly related with injustices that have been done to certain communities, who in turn decide to revenge.

This a fund that was established by two journalists, Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin. They are the owners of Phoenix News Media. The two were arrested and detained for carrying out a story about a Sherriff in the state of Arizona.

The two were compensated by the state once they appealed against their indictment. They were awarded $3.75 million that they dedicated to establish9ing a fund to support organizations that protect human, migrants and civil rights

  1. This is less of a crusade than it is a campaign that will be considered a success so far but it will eventually pay off to some extent. It is okay though that assignment helps does the job in completing the tasks that are involved in the support to the organizations. Many people will in the long run be more thankful of the contribution that is being made as well by the business and rights group.
